THE SS EVENT HAS FINALLY CONCLUDED. normal and electric-type perks have been phased out alongside ss-related events such as the pokeathlon. to wrap up july and august's event cycle, there are several things to consider and to take heed of, so please read below if you have participated in the event.[break][break][break]
missions/safari zone
ss limited missions have now been archived. however, if you are still in the middle of a ss mission, do not fret. you can complete them at any time.[break][break][break]
the safari zone selection connected with the ss event will also be cycled out; however, characters still in safari zone threads on the ss rotation of pokemon will have until
august 31st, 11:59pm pst to complete them. if they are not completed by then, the threads will be forcibly closed (the safari warden will call your character back!).[break][break][break]

summer surprises bingo
if you have been able to achieve any of the prizes rewarded by
summer surprises bingo, please redeem them in the
site shop. for those able to redeem a premium gachapon ticket or a mega stone, please include information about whether you are using it/selecting a mega for it or if you are storing it for later.[break][break]
please try to redeem these by the end of august!

heroic medal treasure trade / summer beach party

IF YOU POSSESS HEROIC MEDALS from events such as summer surprises swarms or the pokeathlon, then your character will be able to redeem prizes from the
heroic medal treasure trade thread.[break][break][break]
instructions on how to redeem prizes are present within the thread; however, if you are redeeming the "mystery prize" in the top left corner, please post in that thread and
wait for a special moderator post in the
summer beach party event thread for further instructions.[break][break][break]
subsequently, the summer beach party even thread will be locked after the mod post. this will likely be sometime on
august 25th, pst.
TOXIC TAKEOVER INTRO & PERKS
what is this event?
TOXIC TAKEOVER WILL USHER IN a new narrative arc for hoenn. you could say we're in the beginning of season 4 now, perhaps. for example, season 1 is rocket's occupation of hoenn, season 2 begins with silas blackwell (first hoenn rocket boss) and his defeat until the new year raid, and season 3 is everything until now.[break][break]
this event will bring about a dramatic raid(s), while providing follow-ups to several plotlines (e.g. a transfer of power, several research threads, etc.). so, stay tuned![break][break]
lastly, this event will run until
OCTOBER 31ST, 11:59PM PST. we will weave in halloween events with this event cycle, so stay tuned for much more![break][break]
poison-type perks
poison-type benefits infect the site! enjoy discounts, luckier encounters and more on the site:[break][break]
- poison-type pokemon have their evolutions discounted by 50%.
- poison-type pokemon have a higher chance of possessing 5 moves, egg moves, hidden abilities, and being shiny.
- gulpin and its evolution line can be sold to the black market for 100 PD.

the safari zone has refreshed with a new selection. this new selection will last until
10/11 11:59PM PST. below, you can see the new rotation of pokemon that you can capture.[break][break][break]

new missions
new toxic takeover limited missions are available, which you can sign up with a partner for until the event's end. much thanks goes to

awards have been added. as a note, the "WHAT'RE YOU SELLING" award has had its image changed, for its previous image will be used for the new "PAYDAY" award.[break][break][break]

toxic endeavors

ENDEAVORS ARE LIKE QUESTS you can complete during the toxic takeover event cycle. fulfill writing-based prompts or perform tasks around the site to receive rewards.[break][break]
please note, unlike the towers of strength event, these endeavors are
player-based. in other words, you can not have each of your characters fulfill these endeavors. instead, you will be able to fulfill an endeavor on any character and decide which reward goes to which character if you have more than one.[break][break][break]

poison patrol
[break][break]
SPORADICALLY, THROUGHOUT THE EVENT CYCLE, "poison patrol" threads will appear. these threads will require your characters to fulfill particular objectives for special rewards. in particular, clearing these threads will reward you with "antidotes" that can be redeemed later for rewards.[break][break]

WAR OF THE WORLDS RAIDS
THE MEGALOPOLANS HAVE BEGUN attacking Hoenn. Known as the "Three-Day War" or the "Ultra Beast War," the region attempts to defend against the incoming intruders. In the process, questions will be answered and mysteries will be unearthed.[break][break]
